We believe in the power of flowers — not just to beautify a space, but to brighten someone’s day.
Join us on Saturday morning for a special Floral Donation Workshop, where we’ll rework event flowers from a private fundraiser into smaller arrangements to deliver to a local assisted living facility.
We’ll kick things off with a brief floral design lesson, then spend time creating beautiful, thoughtful pieces together. No floral experience is necessary — just bring your love for community and creativity. Ages 16 nd over, please.
The workshop will be led by Lynn, a long-time florist and owner of Pollen Floral Design and now owner of Rooted Living. Known for her whimsical, garden-style arrangements, Lynn is a pioneer of eco-friendly floral design in Chicago and will share her signature methods.
Spots are limited, so secure your spot today! And maybe we'll work outside if it's nice out!
🌼 $20 registration— You’ll receive a $20 store credit to use that day or you can choose to donate it toward the cost of the workshop. (Due to the popularity of this event, I want to make sure everyone who signs up intends to show up!)
This is a lovely way to start your weekend, give back, and learn a bit about sustainable floral design in the process.

No refunds are available for workshop registration.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend. To do this, please email info@rootedchicago.com with the subject line “Ticket Transfer: [Name of Workshop]” using the same email address that was provided at registration. Include the full name & email address of the person who you would like to transfer your ticket to. We’ll take it from there!
If you provide 7 days' notice and we are able to fill your spot, we may be able to issue a credit toward a future workshop.
In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, increases in local Covid cases, changes to local Covid guidance, positive Covid cases on our staff, or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).
