Refund policy

 Returns of Hard Goods

We have a 30-day return policy for non-plant items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@rootedchicago.com or visit the store with the item and its digital receipt.  

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Once plants leave our property we do not have the ability to guarantee that the weather, plant predators, airborne plant diseases, or the care it receives will ensure that the plants selected will thrive or survive. Therefore, our plant return policy is more restrictive than our hard goods return policy.

Plants may be exchanged within 48 hours of purchase with a receipt (some restrictions apply). All plants that are not returned at the quality level in which they were purchased will not qualify for a refund.

Certain additional types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
