If you've been frustrated with how your bouquets from Trader Joe's end up looking when you arrange them at home, this hands-on workshop is for you! Learn from a professional florist how to turn a Trader Joe's bouquet into a beautiful arrangement suitable for a table centerpiece.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a little self-love and creativity! Join us for a fun and approachable floral design workshop where you’ll craft a beautiful arrangement using readily available fresh flowers. We’ll focus on making floral design simple and affordable--learning in a way that can be easily replicated at home with mixed flower bunches commonly found at Trader Joe’s or your favorite local market. Each participant will make and take home their floral creation.
The workshop will be led by Lynn, a long-time florist and owner of Pollen Floral Design and now owner of Rooted Living. Known for her whimsical, garden-style arrangements, Lynn is a pioneer of eco-friendly floral design in Chicago and will share her signature methods, including working without floral foam.

No prior floral experience needed. All materials provided. We provide the vase, the flowers, the tools, and the know-how.

Why do we have multiple pricing options?
Community workshops are for you, our community! We offer a limited number of tickets for most workshops at a reduced rate. Please choose the price that best honors where you’re at. If you are able to pay at the suggested level or higher, it helps keep our workshops on a sliding scale for those who can contribute at a different scale.
Policies:
No refunds are available for workshop registration.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend. To do this, please email info@rootedchicago.com with the subject line “Ticket Transfer: [Name of Workshop]” using the same email address that was provided at registration. Include the full name & email address of the person who you would like to transfer your ticket to. We’ll take it from there!
If you provide 7 days' notice and we are able to fill your spot, we may be able to issue a credit toward a future workshop.
In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, increases in local Covid cases, changes to local Covid guidance, positive Covid cases on our staff, or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).
