Learn how to create a unique and artistic travel notebook, combining sketches, notes, and collected mementos to capture your journey in a meaningful way.
We will start the course by making a small sketchbook, then explore quick techniques with graphite, charcoal and watercolor to capture the beauty of the world around you, whether at home or on the go!
No experience necessary. All workshop materials provided. Bring a journal and pen if you like. 11 spots available.

No refunds are available for workshop registration.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend. To do this, please email info@rootedchicago.com with the subject line “Ticket Transfer: [Name of Workshop]” using the same email address that was provided at registration. Include the full name & email address of the person who you would like to transfer your ticket to. We’ll take it from there!
If you provide 7 days' notice and we are able to fill your spot, we may be able to issue a credit toward a future workshop.
In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, increases in local Covid cases, changes to local Covid guidance, positive Covid cases on our staff, or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).
