Monster Mini-World: Terrarium Making for Kids
Sunday, October 1. Get in the mood for Halloween by creating a tiny imaginary world of plants, space gems, and monsters! Make a mythical terrarium to take home and enjoy throughout the year.
You will create one terrarium per ticket. Space is limited to 8 kids. The kid's grown-up should be within earshot or closer during the workshop. Magic potion punch will be available for the kids and mimosas will be available for the grown-ups.
Why do we have multiple pricing options?
Community workshops are for you, our community! We offer a limited number of tickets for most workshops at a reduced rate. Please choose the price that best honors where you’re at. If you are able to pay at the suggested level or higher, it helps keep our workshops on a sliding scale for those who can contribute at a different scale.

No refunds are available for workshop registration.*
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend. To do this, please email info@rootedchicago.com with the subject line “Ticket Transfer: [Name of Workshop]” using the same email address that was provided at registration. Include the full name & email address of the person who you would like to transfer your ticket to. We’ll take it from there!
If you provide 7 days' notice and we are able to fill your spot, we may be able to issue a credit toward a future workshop.
*In the event Rooted Living cancels or reschedules due to inclement weather, increases in local COVID cases, changes to local COVID guidance, positive COVID cases on our staff, or other Act of God, you will receive a refund or credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).
