Treat Yourself: Valentine’s Floral Design Workshop
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a little self-love and creativity! Join us for a fun and approachable floral design workshop where you’ll craft a beautiful arrangement using fresh flowers. We’ll focus on making floral design simple and affordable--learning in a way that can be easily replicated at home with mixed flower bunches commonly found at Trader Joe’s or your favorite local market. If you've been frustrated with how your flower arrangements turn out at home, this is the workshop for you!
The workshop will be led by Lynn, a long-time florist and owner of Pollen Floral Design and now owner of Rooted Living. Known for her whimsical, garden-style arrangements, Lynn is a pioneer of eco-friendly floral design in Chicago and will share her signature methods, including working without floral foam.

Why do we have multiple pricing options?
Community workshops are for you, our community! We offer a limited number of tickets for most workshops at a reduced rate. Please choose the price that best honors where you’re at. If you are able to pay at the suggested level or higher, it helps keep our workshops on a sliding scale for those who can contribute at a different scale.
Policies:
No refunds are available for workshop registration.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend. To do this, please email info@rootedchicago.com with the subject line “Ticket Transfer: [Name of Workshop]” using the same email address that was provided at registration. Include the full name & email address of the person who you would like to transfer your ticket to. We’ll take it from there!
If you provide 7 days' notice and we are able to fill your spot, we may be able to issue a credit toward a future workshop.
In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, increases in local Covid cases, changes to local Covid guidance, positive Covid cases on our staff, or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).
