We will only repot plants that need to be repotted. We'll be straight with you if it seems unnecessary. Reasons to repot plants include:

• The plant is rootbound and needs a bigger pot. Only go up 1-2" in diameter.
• The plant's soil is depleted. Soil will be refreshed and put in the same (or similar size) pot.
• The plant will be moved into a decorative pot of similar size.

Pricing includes labor and materials. While we can sometimes repot a plant while you wait, please plan on dropping off your plant(s) to pick after repotting is completed.  Don't want to lug your plant over here? We make house calls, too! Add on our Concierge Service for on-site houseplant repotting.

And as always, if you buy both a plant and pot here at Rooted, we're happy to repot them free of charge at the time of purchase.

*Because repotting is stressful to the plant, we only recommend repotting when truly necessary. When using our repotting services, you assume responsibility for the health of the plant following repotting.
